About us

In 2019, Anniek founded her first company in Amsterdam, supporting expats with relocation and helping founders organise and run their business.
 

The demand for structured, practical support grew quickly.
 

She later moved to Barcelona to become Head of People & Operations at one of the companies she had worked with. For three years, she helped build and scale a tech company from the ground up, working across people, operations and strategy. In a growing company, that meant stepping into whatever was needed and making sure things got done.
 

Eventually, the desire to build something of her own returned.
From that experience, The Support Office was created.

 

Today, we support founders and teams across the Netherlands and Spain, as well as remote companies.

We are a hands-on team that works hard, takes ownership and care about doing things properly.
We grow thoughtfully, with the ambition to expand into other countries over time.
